Grid Soil Sampling

Grid soil sampling measures a variety of surface soil chemical properties.

Grid Sampling

Addresses Variability.

Grid soil sampling offers the most comprehensive understanding of soil variability across the entire field, enabling precise data-driven decisions. This approach ensures optimal resource allocation and improved yields, particularly beneficial in high and medium rainfall zones. Additionally, grid sampling supports site-specific management practices, enhancing long-term sustainability and productivity.

Choose the right tool for the job

Grid Soil sampling systematically collects soil samples across a paddock in a grid pattern. This approach involves dividing the paddock into a grid of equally spaced cell points (typically 2ha) and then collecting 8 sub samples from each grid cell. The samples are typically taken at 0-10cm and can be analysed for various soil properties such as nutrient levels, pH, organic matter content and texture.
